born on a different cloud``MARCEL « Thread Started on Apr 7, 2009, 8:59pm »
Rain soaked the grounds of Hogwarts. Many of the students hoped it would not carry onto the weekend due to a scheduled Quidditch game. Since it was a Friday afternoon, there was a restless sensation traveling through the atmosphere. Remus, however, did not feel well. His thoughts could not be occupied by excitement over petty events. He feared the approaching full moon more than ever. Everything that it represented irked him to no end. He hated the fact that he had to miss days of school. He hated the obvious discomfort of it all. And now most recently he hated that he didn't know what would happen since many of the Incompertus students were rumored to be werewolves as well. Remus had always been the only one. In a way, it was favorable since he had some privacy. But now he didn't know what to expect.
It was the last class of the day, Charms. They were doing busy work that Remus had easily finished in the first ten minutes. His companions were now fooling around with comedic spells to show off to neighboring girls. For some reason Remus began to feel claustrophobic in the spacious room. He excused himself and made his way to the Boy's Lavatory. It was empty. He didn't need to use the toilet, but he just needed a place to exhale and get away from everyone. This year was not starting off well in his opinion. There was so much monotony in it all. The only thing that kept him going were thoughts of Luna. Even thinking about her made him smile. He wished he felt the same way about more things in his life.
He leaned against one of the sinks that occupied the center of the bathroom in a circular fashion. The stillness of everything seemed unnatural. Remus knew someone was bound to disrupt it.

"Fucking git," Marcel said to himself in a heavily Italian accented tone, as he entered into the boy's bathroom, the door making a loud bang when it hit the wall as it was pushed open.
Why did Marcel always fall for stupid things like this? He had been in a Potions class when he complained to his partner that he wasn't feeling well: nauseous. With a snicker the partner fixed up something in an empty beaker that resembled tea and handed it Marcel, telling him it would make him feel better. Just as he was about to drink, a sixth year girl cried out and told him not to drink it, pushing it away from his mouth only to have it spill all over his shirt. Marcel didn't say anything to either of them, but quickly went to the bathroom to dry up. The last thing he heard before leaving was the girl complaining to his partner about how it was rude to spike people's drinks with alihotsy...whatever that was.
And so there was Marcel, angrily in the bathroom at one of the sinks. He tore his robe away from his body, his button-down shirt following afterward. In front of the sink he stood now, half-naked, staring into the mirror. Goose bumps formed all over his pale skin as he realized how cold it was, but Marcel didn't care at that point; it was better than wearing a wet shirt and robe.
Marcel picked up his things and began to walk over to an empty stall when he noticed someone out of the corner of his eye, leaning against a sink. With the robe and shirt slung over his arm, Marcel turned to them sharply, staring at them.
As he stared at the male, a small pink color rose to his cheeks as he remembered he wasn't wearing a shirt. Marcel looked down at his feet, staying quiet. Hopefully he hadn't made the male feel as awkward as he felt.

The silence was disturbed as a red-headed fellow bounded in cursing to himself. It seemed as though he was worked up for some reason or another. Remus's eyes followed him as he headed toward a nearby sink, but he didn't notice. From the markings on his robe he could see that the boy was from Incompertus, the Italian school. He had met a few of them in the past and all had been very agreeable, especially Luna. Remus couldn't help but wonder if he knew her.
Then, the boy began to take off his robes and shirt. Remus raised an eyebrow at this. It wasn't every day you saw someone start stripping in the middle of the Boy's Lavatory, and yet it appeared as though he didn't realize anyone else was there. Being the natural altruist, Remus hoped nothing was seriously wrong. He knew it must've been hard for them to adjust to a new school; it was a completely different culture afterall.
After a moment of reflection, the boy was staring at him. Remus saw him flushed with apparent embarrassment. Instead of returning a puzzled stare, Remus gave him a look of sympathy, his blue eyes filled with kindness.

Marcel looked back at the male, the pink in his face become even darker. He was almost surprised that he had said something. If it had been Marcel in his spot, he would have raised an eyebrow and walked out. This guy, though, didn't do anything of the sort. He actually wanted to know Marcel's emotional state, something welcoming that Marcel hadn't felt in a while. If he weren't embarrassed, he might have smiled.
"I don't understand what is wrong with people! They're so dumb!" He told the male angrily as if he had any interest.
The whole time he spoke he had to struggle for the words. English wasn't his first language, nor was it his second: it was is third. Especially when he was frustrated, Marcel found it hard to not just blurt out everything in Italian, or even French. His brother had been teaching him English, and for the most part Marcel got it down, but the language barrier as of recently had been getting to him; maybe he was sick of England already. Then again, Italy wasn't much better.
With that said, Marcel continued with his initial task. He sighed, walking over to one of the stalls. Marcel placed his robe over one of the stalls, then draped his shirt over the next one. Hopefully they would dry soon, or well enough; Marcel didn't want to spend his day in the bathroom.

From his words, Remus could tell that someone had wronged him. It probably had something to do with why his robes were soaked. Seeing the boy become even redder, he wondered if it would've been better just to let him be. Remus knew what it was like to have other intervene in things that were a bit too personal for their knowing. On the other hand, he wasn't afaid to express himself openly so maybe he didn't mind Remus's question.
He noticed that he had the same kind of accent as Luna. Why couldn't he stop thinking about her? Many things reminded him of her now. Each day he hoped to catch a glimpse of her anywhere he went. Remus had to admit that he was a little obsessed, but he couldn't help it. Even though it was the biggest teenage cliche, he almost felt as though he was in love. Noticing that he was lost in thought, he tried to shake it off internally.
"Unfortunately, most people tend to be that way," Remus said honestly.
Looking over at the stalls he saw the robes the boy had draped on them. Taking out his wand, he casted a hot air charm with a difficult movement. Success. Hot air seamed to hover over the garments emmitting steam. They were most likely dry now if the charm had worked.
"But some of us aren't so bad... Remus Lupin," he said introducing himself with a smile.
