When you have to disappear from society for one week a month so you don't kill anyone, your love life is the last thing on your mind. This is exactly what seventeen year old werewolf Luna Delaricci has been going through for the better part of a dozen years. Bitten by a werewolf named Anna-Lisa Bartelli at the age of five, Luna has been dealing with turning into a dog and having the urge to bite people. Already the girl has gotten loose twice. The first resulting in the death of a Ministry Official sent to track her down when she was eight. And the second turned a small boy when she was thirteen. Already Luna fears for the lives of her classmates. But she is forced to believe that Professors Dumbledore and Decart have it under control.
When the girl meets English werewolf Remus Lupin her heart begins to flutter. Love at first sight. But she knows not of his affliction. Nor that they were bitten around the same time. With her head telling her to keep him safe, to keep him at arms length for fear for his life. And her heart telling her that if he knew about her curse, they could make it work.
