How did it all startAwards: How did it endAwards:
Devastation rained down on us without mercy or discrimination; countless lives
lost to the harbingers of Pestilence, Famine, War and Death. An entire city
obliterated by fury falling from the heavens, and those who survived were left
to piece together the crumbling remnants of their shattered lives... though I doubt
even time will heal all of the wounds inflicted that day.
That was all the time it took to change the fates of so many: one day.
How could anyone have predicted that Apocalypse’s threats would become
stark reality, leaving behind an earth reeling, torn apart at the seamsAwards: Sheet-
covered bodies lined the streets, broken wails of those in mourning captured by
camera, and whatever sense of normality we thought we’d maintain if we only
held onto it tightly enough has been ripped away from us in the space of a
few mere hours.
Now, more than ever, we must stand together – show our solidarity as human
beings, as a planet, and help rebuild our world from the ruins. The smoke has
cleared away and the earth is broken. The waters have receded and millions
have been sent to their graves, and there is only one thing left to decide.
