Luna Maria Delaricci walked out onto the Quidditch Pitch. Her mind was full of thoughts she dare not speak. Going out to the pitch she mounted her broom and flew into the sky. It wasn't into the clouds like she wanted, but enough so any unsuspecting person would not know she was there.
Luna looked out over the lake when she had the perfect view. That was the great thing about flying and the Quidditch Pitch. If you were in the right place you could get a view of the lake and by turning 90 degrees, you could get a view of the Forbidden Forest.
Thoughts rushed through the young werewolf's mind. So many that she hadn't noticed if anyone had approached the pitch. That was normal for her. To get lost in thought.
Luna could hardly believe it had been two weeks since she and her class mantes had come to this English school. More times than naught Luna herself pretended she didn't know English. Not well enough to hold a conversation at least. More so with the boy she couldn't seem to get out of her head. The Gryffindor, Remus Lupin. 198 words || school uniform

Andy stared out the window of the Ravenclaw Tower. She had bored all day. She had finished all of her homework already and didn't have anything to do. Most of her friends were off doing who knows what. She hadn't seen any of them since that morning at breakfast.
Finally, she turned and went up to her dorm. She was not going to sit there and do nothing. The weather was perfect for flying, so she figured she could go and get some practice in. Pushing open the door to her room, she went to her bed and pulled the her broom from her trunk.
Running down the stairs, she avoided talking to anyone. She wanted to get out to the Pitch. Things at home hadn't been so great lately and she just wanted to let it all float away. But when she got there, she saw the fluttering robes of another flyer. But she was not to be put off.
Pushing open the doors to the Ravenclaw locker room, she changed into her blue and bronze uniform. Pulling her dark hair back into a ponytail, she grabbed her broom and went onto the Pitch. Mounting her broom, she kicked off and soured into the air.
It wasn't until she was level with the other flyer that she recognized the face of one of the Incompertus students. She was too far from Andy for her to see her face clearly. Leaning forward on her broom, she shot forward, weaving in and out of the stadium. It wasn't long before she started gaining on the Italian witch.

Luna could feel the presence of someone else as she flew around the Quidditch pitch. When the feeling didn't go away after a few minutes, the girl turned quickly to see one of the Hogwarts students on her tail, figuratively, of course. "Che vuole leiAwards: Chi la sonoAwards:" she asked in her native language, she always loved seeing the look of confusion that the students here gave her.
"What do you wantAwards:" asked the girl in English, "Who are youAwards:" Luna looked at the girl, her eyes narrow and her mouth set into a thin line. It wasn't that she hated people, but she didn't want to be too close to them, she was bound to hurt them. No one new ever entered her life, it was just as simple as that. 136 words || school uniform

Andy rolled her eyes at the girl's Italian. The sound of their native language had been filling the halls lately, so she knew when it was spoken. But that didn't mean that she had a clue as to what they were saying. Andy figured that she would repeat her question in English if she really wanted an answer. Andy lazily performed a barrel roll, waiting. And she was right. A few moments later, she did. What do you wantAwards: Andy's dark eyes met hers. "Well, I should think it was obvious. To fly, of course."
And with that, she shot forward, passing the other girl. She stayed low to her broom, feeling the wind slide over her. Her robes were flapping in the wind. Flying like this was her favorite, when no one else was there. Unfortunately, she just had to pick the day when someone was. Circling the goal post, Andy slowed her broom a bit. She looked around for the older girl. She had looked familiar. What was her nameAwards: Lucy.... Lucia... LunaAwards: Luna sounded right.
